Sunday Stretch X

What a Sunday! Last night me and my husband, plus our lovely friends, went out dancing. It has been a while that we closed down a bar and I felt fantastic in my dress and was told by people that, when I dance, I have the spirit and energy of a 16 year old which everyone found quite adorable. Yea...I looove being adorable. lol
Fact is I do not care and mostly am the first on the dance  floor! Ha

I did not really have a hang-over but surely was sleeping wrong and I ended up with quite a lot of neck and shoulder pain. Nothing Stretch X can't fix!! I wish I would have more time so I could stretch like that at least every other day. I would enjoy it tons...it just feels so good! I also think it is the only workout in the P90X series in which Tony does not speak some sort of jokes. I love his jokes! How come they still make me laugh after 5 weeks?!
Yesterday the P90X Facebook page featured my journey with P90X! It was a nice surprise for sure. Kenpo X, Hello Ankle Weights.

So today I started my day as always, Shakeology of course. Normally I start my workout one hour after then yet I noticed I am out of shampoo...so shopping it is. I got quite upset. How is it every shampoo smells like some sort of fake flower arrangement or fruit basket? I do not like much of the smells in lotion either  though these days it is easier to find lotion without a smell. Shampoo? Get out of town! I almost threw up smelling the herbal essences crap. Anyways. Guess I stick to baby shampoo and oils. 

Once I got home my girl Hunter came over  and we kicked some Kenpo X butt! We used my ankle weights (2lbs each) for all the punches and kicks. I did about  1/3 of the exercises with the weights and I am rather sure I will feel it tomorrow O_o

I had a average heart rate of 131 in those 55 minutes and with a VO2max of 40 it makes about 380 calories burned. I could have pushed harder yet there was no way with the ankle  weights.

First week of Phase II is almost over and I feel incredible. I never felt this stong before!!

Legs And Back! YAY!

Today I wanted to kick some major behind so I put on ankle weights and overall used 15lbs (two of those, har har) for all the leg workouts. And take this...I did 10 pull-ups WITHOUT a chair! Can you believe that? Where I was so very weak I now do them quite easy. I am totally excited!
This morning I weight in...after having a coffee and saw that I lost another pound. I am now at 128lbs. I know weight does not mean much yet I wanted it to stay at 129 and just replace fat with muscle. lol


Oh well I say. I feel fantastic and will do as I do. Thank you everyone for the great support. Don't forget your water! At least 80oz of it a day!

Yoga X, I Need A Nap

I do not know what it is, maybe the switch of workouts in Phase II or it being the week after my recovery week but I am sore all over. It is a nice gentle sore not a "I can't flex my muscles or walk"  kind of sore. I enjoy it! I can feel being more hungry then a couple weeks ago. Which makes sense as well. 
In Phase II of P90X I am suppose to have a 40/40/20 diet. (40% carbs, proteins and 20% fat) I am trying something different though. I used to be a heavy heavy girl and still got a good layer of fat over those strong muscles of mine. I am upping my protein up to  60%, fat to 30% and carbs only 10% (which I will get from my Shakeology). If I find my numbers going down or so I will of course adjust my carbs. Yet with all the lifting I am sure my body won't have much problem using my own body fat for energy. I shall do this for two weeks. If I feel well enough. 
Yoga X felt great today. My upper back was a tad sore (from yesterday) but it  made me feel very relaxed. I wish I could take a nap right now. I just now burned my chicken...turns out super crispy chicken tastes amazing. lol
Here is a better scapula pinch picture. Most people will be able to use their muscle to hold the pencil up. But can you eat the pencil with your scapula?! And yep, it is a PINK glitter pencil. A  girl gots to have style!

Back And Biceps, Major Burn

Hello everyone! 
Today's workout was something else. I was excited to get this going since it is a workout that is new to Phase II. Back and Biceps. I already expected to be a bit weaker with my Pull-Ups due to the Recovery Week and of course, as expected, I was right.

Other then that, this workout was great, Hunter was over again and did great as well. Since she is a dancer and still growing I have her stick to lighter weight. We want strength and endurance for her and not size. She seems to enjoy it a lot!

Plyo X...WHAT?!

Crazy, crazy morning. Started my day as always with my Shakeology and then realized I have to do Plyo X. I remembered how 'weak' I was yesterday (and  today my arms are rather sore) so I must say I was quite scared of this.
My girl Hunter came over to do Plyo X it with me. She is a dancer so she had little to no problems doing this workout which was quite impressive. Thanks for joining me Hunt!

My average heart rate was at 156 which is better then two weeks ago (151) though I felt a lot weaker this time around (guess that is because of the Recovery week, muscle confusion for the win baby). I burned a total of 900 calories which makes me happy. Now  I am sore all over. Triceps, Shoulders...plus legs now. 
I am having some beef jerky now. Nuff said.

Chest, Shoulder And Triceps.

After one week of Recovery I had huge problems with the workout this morning. I did not expect it to be this hard. I am now in Phase II and got introduced to a new workout. Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and it was no joke. From one armed push-ups to plyo (clapping) push-ups. I expected to go up in weights yet this is a rather different workout meaning you will find yourself going with lighter weights.
Since the tattoo is all fresh and exciting you will have to deal with a couple of back pictures for a while. I hope you do not mind. If so please leave a comment.

Pain Is Weakness Leaving The Body.

What a fantastic Sunday. Lasts nights party was great yet I have been bit by mosquito's again. This time in my face and neck and I must say I look quite  funny. 
Anyways...I took my measurements. Har har. I am so excited! I lost about 1lbs...which is not important. The inches are and in the first 30 days of my P90X journey I lost a total of 2.7 inches. Yay me!
I also got my tattoo done today. With each semi painful stitch I left behind a painful past...a bigger me and friends that do not wish to support me. It hurt so good and I am so very happy (though tired...thanks mosquito blood suckers).
Here are my numbers and a picture of my tattoo.

Saturday A Slow Day?!

Hello everyone! Tomorrow I hit day 30 of my P90X journey. How exciting is that?
Today just a short update. Yoga X was on the menu. I burned about 600 calories in those 80 minutes which was very much relaxing. My daughter decided it would be fun to color on herself with a marker while I was stuck in my twisted chair pose. So funny....not.
I also made myself peanut butter, chocolate protein ice cream and yes, you can over due the peanut butter. My belly is still hurting! 
Tonight  I am going out with my dear husband and tomorrow I am getting my early anniversary gift plus I am taking pictures of some beautiful people plus we have a garage party going tomorrow night. Bored? Come on by but expect bleeding ears...I will tell you all about P90X and co!

I Am Back

*waves* How is everyone doing this fine morning? I am back to my old self. Of course my knee and elbow still kind of hurt but only when I look at it. So...lets just not look at it shall we?
Just finished Core Synergistics and in the 44 minutes I burned a nice 543 calories. This workout will surely kick my butt every time I do it. After all my core is my weakest part. Especially my lower abs.
Yesterday I made Shakeology non bake cookies, I only made eight of them. Still, because of the peanut butter, I had about 1000 calories sitting in front of me..yep I am a bad girl. I skipped lunch...and any snacks and just ate those. So all in all I had way to much fat yesterday. O_o I'd say that is okay. 
Sunday I will take my measurements. I feel as though I have not lost much or any weight but I am sure I rid myself of a good amount of inches. Meaning...replaced fat with muscle which is exactly what I wished to do.
The want for my tattoo is starting to be in my thoughts quite a lot. It does not just mean weight loss for me but is also a way of leaving my past behind. This morning  I had to tell myself my mantra over and over again: "No one is in control of your happiness but you; therefore, you have the power to change anything about yourself or your life that you want to change." (<---  this is not my tattoo...lol) 
Anyways,  here something rather funny:

Skipped Workout Today

Good Day, good people,

today I skipped my Stretch X. Fell into a red ants nest yesterday and all my joints, plus bites, hurt like someone beat me up with a club. I am allergic to mosquito bites (not kidding) and get goose egg big bruises. So I am not too surprised to swell after ant bites.
I am not too upset to miss Stretch X, this is  something I can hang on onto my workout tomorrow. Hope everyone had a wonderful day!

Kenpo X, 3rd Day Of My Recovery Week.

Oh dear Recovery Week, can you finally be over? I feel like I am being lazy. But...of course it is important to give my muscles time to grow, and to rest. Muscle Confusion is a beautiful thing indeed.
Today I had Kenpo X on the menu. I went all out and had an average heart rate of 144 which brings me to a calorie burn of 733. Not too bad! I feel like I did something. My kiddos did Kenpo with me and we turned up the music all the way which means...maybe they will nap! *insert evil laugh*


I have quite a problem with my diet in my recovery week. For some reason working out less makes me hungry. I fear carbs in the Recovery week as well. But...I am sticking to the plan! *yay me*

2nd Day Of Recovery Week. Core Synergistics

Now that was surely something else! Very much slow...so you still feel like you "recover" but all those core workouts kicked my behind. I very much suck at Bananas. Superman? Fine...even Boat and Bow worked out great but Bananas?! I have to figure out how to get my lower abs stronger. If anyone has an idea, please hit me up. 
I burned 602 calories in those 55 minutes with an average heart rate of 127. It is very hard to not do something extra. I almost feel lazy...but  wait. I could mop the floor and fold laundry...and clean the litter box or pull more weeds. 
My husband started doing Chalean Extreme last night. We where thinking about P90X at first yet with how much he works we figured Chalean might be a better fit. I took before pictures, measurements and can't wait to  see how he likes it. Love you babe!

1st. Day Of Recovery Week

arg, I am in love with Voldemort! Does that make me a dork? If yes...then oh well. I was invited to watch the last Harry Potter last night (with my lovely husband) and it was fantastic. Sadly I shall admit I had a big huge piece of carrot cake and yes, it had butter cream in it. So I went to bed at 2am, ate badly and did not drink enough, now I am quite sensitive which meant for me...migraines. All morning I was in huge pain. Could hardly see, was too nauseous to eat or drink (which made everything worse). I had my Shakeology and still pressed play. It is my Recovery week and it started with  Yoga X. Now...70oz of water later and two super small meals (all together I had 450 calories so far (it is 2pm) I feel MUCH better.

Streeeetch! Sun And Shakeology.

Have  I told you guys that Shakeology tastes like Sunshine? It does and I truly wish I could afford to drink it all day every day. Lately people try to find products that are similar. Though there is NONE. Maybe something that comes close yet it won't taste good. And who wants to start their day like that? I sure don't. I also like knowing exactly what it is that is in my shake.
Stretch X...makes EVERY headache go away. I love it! Tomorrow my recovery week starts and I am still a tad freaked out that I won't be lifting for a whole week.
Lasts nights NPC Bodybuilding show was amazing!  I kept dreaming about being one of those Bikini models. Those where fun for sure yet I am very much in love with male heavyweight bodybuilders. It is not sexy to my eye but so very beautiful! 
I will go pull some weeds now. Greatest hamstring workout out there. As always keep pushing play and enjoy!

Kenpo X And Burn Interval

What a day! So much running around to do. Woke up early, had my Shakeology and then did Kenpo X followed by my favorite workout from Chalean Extreme BURN INTERVAL. I am in love with it and always will be. After that we went to the park. Me and the kids got attacked by hissing geese. They smelled our organic animal crackers. About 20 of those birds circled us in and my kids started handing out crackers....oh but don't you go to slow because they'd start hissing!
Now I am home...have about 35 minutes before I have to leave for the 2011 NPC Tokyo Joe's Colorado State Bodybuilding show. I am excited :)

Legs And Back, Pull- Up numbers are so much better!

What a great burn this workout brings! For my pull-ups I was able to push the chair out a lot more then last week, plus my numbers are better. It is also the end of week two since I am on Shakeology! I would suggest...if you are not on it...to start yesterday. lol It is strange but normally I'd be in bed, tired, at 9pm and it seems as though I can stay up a whole lot longer. I also don't mind the sun too much and feel calmer. I have not raised my voice in so long. O_O

Yoga X Let's Just Say...I Like You!

Today was another quiet day. Yoga X was on the menu today. I still struggle to just let myself be okay with "just" doing yoga. Don't get me wrong, your lower arms will burn, same with your calves...and, everything else. It is just so much slower. The only problem I have when I do this workout is being without shoes. I got a mat yet all the poses leave my feet 100% sore. It almost feels as though I have blisters on the bottom of my feet. Even if I put on shoes which are a tiny bit to big, my feet slip around in there and leave me with the same effect. Maybe I am too sensitive. I am surprised since I heard plenty of times that I have hobbit feet. Only two more workouts till I am in my recovery week. I am excited.
Today I want to write out a special thanks to my up-line coach Carey Potts and her wonderful man David Tyler Martin. You two are very much awesome and I am glad to have you two in my life. Motivation every day!

35% Body Fat Should Not Be Average.

Good morning everyone. Today just a short post due to me being incredibly busy. I must clean my house. I am happy to say that I was able to up my numbers! I used 15lbs for two of the shoulder workouts! No more 5lbs at all. Check out my numbers and tell me what you think.
Here is another before picture I found. Today I heard a bunch of times that I looked average. Really? Anyone who considers my before pictures "normal" or average needs to get a different mind setting. I could not even go up stairs to my bedroom without being out of breath. I was in size 14-16 which should not be average. If a body fat % of 35 is normal...then we have a bigger problem, in this country, then I thought.

Plyo X Again

I can not believe I have been with this program for 16 days already. I feel absolutely fantastic and rocked Plyo again, average heart rate was at 151 which means I burned 1221 calories :)
My son took a picture of me during the workout and yep, I am smiling big!
After the workout I was beat...of  course! Next week I have my recovery week, I talked to some P90X' ers and they all say the biggest weight and inch loss happened in that week. 12 more days till I can check my inches. I am excited! 
Now I will enjoy the rest of my day with my awesome kids.

Great Numbers!!

I feel rather grand this morning though I can say I was quite worried to not be able to work out today due to all the mosquito bites. My hands are still feeling a bit funky and of course the bites ARE HUGE but I pushed through it knowing I will feel better after. 
My numbers improved a lot! From 95 push-ups and 61 pull-ups last Monday (during the cleanse) to 201 push-ups (all on my toes) and 68 pull-ups (right heal on on a small box (no more chair, har har)
I also did Heavy Pants and Lawn Mowers with 15lbs instead of 10lbs. My reps where, Heavy Pants: 20/12, Lawn Mowers 16/17 , 16/14. 
Dive Bomber and Diamond Push-Ups still are the hardest for me. But my numbers improved here as well. Dive Bomber: 7/7, Diamond Push-Ups: 7/8. 
While doing Ab Ripper X the smell of warm pastries came through the back yard door. Just made me push harder. 
I am on Shakeology for about 10 days now and still love it. I would drink it all day long and can not wait for the new flavor to come out  (Tropical). 
I watched a great movie last night, called "FAT, SICK and NEARLY DEAD". It was all about juice fasting and how the right diet can fix basically any sickness in your body. I was getting VERY upset how people choose to be sick and "comfortable" instead of doing something. I promise...you would feel better! Yes...it is hard, but after just a week you will look back wondering why you did not do something earlier and how it is that you thought you actually feel healthy.  Living healthy IS more comfortable. 
I think we need to reset our  taste buds... *ponders*

No Workout Today.

What a nice gloomy and dark day it is! I'd enjoy it a lot more if I would not have swollen joints.
Me and my husband went out last night and I was bit about 10 times by mosquito's. My hands started to get numb and tingly. This morning was a lot worse, I can't even make a fist nor can I bend my knees much...overall I feel like crap. My husband let me sleep a lot and got me medication.
I have to make an appointment with a doctor to see if there is anything I can do. The bites get VERY large, goose egg  like and then turn a dark purple. 
I do not like mosquito's. At all.

Kenpo X? Na, Let's Try Cardio X.


Good morning friendly neighborhood people, what a day it already has been! My children woke up way too early and due to that where whiny all morning. We went shopping because...dun dun duuuuuuh, Bri needs a new bikini. I used to wear those  size XL or size 14 bikini bottoms with attached skirt plus a tankini that
could give enough fabric to cover the whole family. So of course that is now all way to big...it was time. I was terrified! I was afraid nothing would fit. Sure enough I found one that I thought would never look good on me. I picked a bunch of sizes...L and M and went into the changing room. Target changing room lights are mean.
Never the less, the bottoms fell off of me. So I went to go get a size S. I was sort of giggling because I thought I am dreaming. Size S fit wonderfully.
Here a picture :) I still got lots of work on my legs to do (though I cheated this morning and checked my inches, after 2 weeks of  P90X and one week of 
Shakeology , I lost 0.5 inches
on EACH thigh. IN TWO WEEKS!)






How funny is it that I now weigh 129lbs and still go for size L and up!? 

Anyways, today was suppose to be Kenpo X  yet I really wanted to see what Cardio X is all about. Cardio X holds a bit of core/kenpo/yoga and plyo. I like those kind of workouts! People might say it is too easy yet you can REALLY step up the intensity and get a higher burn. 40 Minutes long, average heart rate was at 141 which means I burned a nice 771 calories. Now I will help my husband in the yard.

Legs And Back, Feel The Burn!

On the menu we had Legs and Back and I am loving it. My pull-up numbers improved a lot even though my chair is pushed out lots more which makes the whole thing harder. My leg numbers where the same, used 10lbs weights  instead of 15lbs because I am going dancing tomorrow. (a girls got to do what a girls got to do!)
Had my Shakeology this morning, mixed it with some strawberries. Oh boy...its like chocolate frosty with....strawberry twirl in it. I love eating clean and I hope you do as well. E-mail me if you have any questions when it comes to my diet :D
Took a video today though only recorded the leg sets because I recorded back on Monday and do not wish to bore you folks. Yes, I know, my pants are to small...lol. My butt is NOT that flat. Promise!

CLEANSE, Love My Scale And Yoga X!

Good morning pretty people.


I am not a scale hopper...normally I step on that thing once a month. Today
I felt as though I should "just check real fast" and check this out:





My goal weight was 135lbs. I don't try, I do not have deficit with my calories at all. I still enjoy fun food but I press play every day. Yoga X, not much to say. I shall add some jump rope later on.

So, after my three day cleanse I shall sum this up a bit. For me this cleanse was rather easy. I had tons of energy the whole time yet felt a tiny bit weak Monday though I blame that on the party the night before.
I killed Plyo yesterday and did not feel hungry once. I recommend this to everyone that wants to feel clean.
I felt regulated *coughs* the very same day. I did break out though that is normal for a cleanse. Toxins are leaving your body and that is a good thing. I took Epsom baths and over all enjoyed myself a lot!

Shoulders And Arms. So lovely And Sexy.

Yesterday was my last day of the Shakeology Cleanse. It was quite easy for me I
must say. Today I started eating normal again, some eggs and berries and, of course,
coffee. *coughs*
Shoulders and Arms. It felt great though I was worried to not be able to do much. I
hit my elbow yesterday, don't remember where, so it hurts quite a lot to do anything.
I pushed through it though and my numbers are a LOT better then last week.
I used the 5lbs weight about 4 times last week and just once today for the first set
of Two Arm Triceps Kickbacks. The rest I did with 10lbs. If my numbers improve next
week I shall go up to 15lbs for Shoulders and Biceps but continue using 10's for
my weak triceps.
Crouching Cohen Curls are still evil. Though so am I ;-)

Day 9, Plyo And Last Day of Shakeology Cleanse.

*looks down at herself* Damn I feel wonderful! I just finished Plyo X...I must add that I was totally terrified of this workout. Last week I was crying at about 28 minutes and had an average heart rate of 138. This time around I was sad when it was over. Sweat was dripping everywhere and I had a wonderful heart rate of 157. (<---that is my average in those 58 minutes). I love how high I can jump and will make a video of it next week. 
All that I did during my cleanse. It is day three so the last day. I am sort of sad...I liked drinking Shakeology 3 times a day. In those three days I mixed Shakeology only with water (like  it the best like that) and had fruit and veggies high in fiber. All in all I had about 900-1000 calories. Please do not do this for longer then three days and listen to your body!

Day 8, Chest And Back, Day 2 of Shakeology Cleanse.

Good day my friends. 
What a day! It is day two of my Shakeology cleanse and I feel good. Good amount of energy as long as I do not work out and as most know today was Chest and Back. My numbers where almost cut in half. 95 Push-Ups and 61 Pull-Ups. (I have my right big toe on a chair!!!). Maybe it is not the cleanse that is taking my strength but the 4th of July Garage Party we hosted yesterday. lol Or the four hours of sleep I had.
Over all, I am very happy with P90X. It feels wonderful.

Fantastic Sunday, Burned Buns, Shakeology Cleanse and Stretch X!

Happy Sunday to all my favorite people!
Last night I decided to do the 3 Day Shakeology Cleanse. Goal is to have three Shakeology Shakes, 2 pieces of fruit, 4 oz of meat and a salad. All in all you try to get the most amount of good nutrition  in the least amount of calories. Don't do this longer then 3 months. I do it to regulate my digestion...darn, that is a lie, I do it because Shakeology is so freaking tasty and now I have an excuse to drink three shakes a day. 
So this morning I started. As of now, 1.15pm, I had two of my shakes and an apple and about 60oz of water. I am stuffed! I got all this energy so I decided to go pull weeds outside...and since I am in TEAM UP I wore underpants and a sports bra....long story short, I had sunscreen on everywhere but my buns meaning they are burned. O_o

My husband also let me sleep in tonight! He did the dishes...the lawn...overall a very relaxed day, on top of that it was Stretch X. And oh dear....I LOVED IT!  It felt amazing and I wonder if I can add it more often to my workout schedule. 
I also got my husband to try Shakeology and he likes it <3

Shakeology and Kenpo X

Good morning friendly people, enjoying the sun? Drinking your water? Hungover from last night?


I was very much hungover but now, with doing Kenpo X, I feel incredible. I burned a comfortable 593 calories during that workout. It was very different, lots of punches and kicks. Made me feel like HULK...yeah buddy!

And then....well then I opened this big black bag...standing on my kitchen counter. Carried the word "Shakeology" on it. I did NOT read what is in it at first. I consider myself gifted with my nose so I wanted to see how far I get. So there I was...opening the bag and this HUGE explosion of aromas  hits my brain. I could smell chocolate, grass, sun, earth and so much more that I could not put my finger on.
I mixed it with just ice and 8oz of water to not take away from the original taste. I was almost scared to try it...scared to be disappointed. After all I am giving up my two protein bars a day to drink Shakeology.
I took my first try and just like the smell of it...it tasted healthy in a chocolate kind of way. That is all I can say, my face has this HUGE grin on it's face. My nose tingles and all I want to do is share my energy. *bounces* Best decision ever! 



I read the book about Shakeology, that comes with the Shakeology HD sign-up, and found out about Sacha Inchi, Astragalus Root, Papain and Wild Grasses dance in my body right now.
I don't have to wait weeks for any effect, I am very in tuned with my body and feel it right now and I can not wait to try out one of the recipes (comes with 30 recipes...like Banana Split Shake, Chocolate Bee, Cherry Monkey...and so on)

I am super excited and I now know I made the healthiest choice in my life by becoming a beachbody coach and drinking Shakeology.

P90X Legs and Back was simply amazing! I thought I'd dislike it since I am still sore from all the last pull-ups I did but, after a while, the pain was gone and was replaced by my most loved workout pain.
My buddy Sharon worked out with me today :D She already transformed tons and looks amazing. She will be joining Team Up shortly to help stop the trend of obesity.
