Hello everyone! I am so sorry for not posting anything in so very long. I have some nasty virus on my computer that stops me from signing into Blogger. I finally had a chance to get to a different computer so now here I am with my very last post on Blogger. I have a new webpage/blog and you are all very welcome to join me there.
It is still a tad messy yet I am getting there :D

Hope to see you all there.

I Am Still Here!

Arg, how I dislike this all. I am trying to stay super positive but that is rather hard. I woke up this morning to find my belly HUGE...I mean like 5 months pregnant huge. I am breaking out everywhere and feel like mush. My eyes, sores and hands and feet are a bit better but not good enough to justify the side effects of prednisone and hydroxychlor...of course I have to be on the high dosage of steroids to calm down my immune system but I still was not able to tigh my darn pants this morning. 3 more weeks and I should be done with this flare.
The hydroxychlor is for the lupus and will not kick in until I am on it for 4-6 months. Rather annoying considering those are the meds that make me SO BLOATED. And I mean "I ate a ballone" bloated.
I do press play though! I try to do as much as I can without getting to tired which is about 20-25 minutes. I feel as though I am a bit more myself for a bit after the workouts. Let's see how it goes today.
Oh and during such flares I am of off gluten...don't think that will do much for me but you never know. hahahaha

Hope all of you are well <3

Finally Results

So here we go. Yesterday morning my doc called me saying I should try to come in today for further tests to find out why my ANA blood test came back so high (some sort of antibody you only have in you if your immune system attacks good stuff in you).
I got there, nervous as can be. Mountain Rheumatology is incredbible though. The front desk lady was lovely and the doctor was funny as heck. In the last 3 months, with all this going on in my body, I seriously thought I am losing it and he played into that 100% which made me feel great! (lol, seriously!)
Awesome thing is...it explains EVERYTHING. When I was 16 I was told I have ADD and TMS (Tension Myositis Syndrome....meaning I turn stress into phisical pain). Well turns out all this can be due to this diagnosis. The doctor spoke to me for almost 2 hours doing weird tests each time I mentioned everything that is going on in me.
He did more blood tests to make sure this disorder has not attacked to many other things inside of me.
Diagnosis Sjogrens Syndrome. I have it all besides the horrid dry eyes (though the test for that showed I do not have much wetness in my eye going on). The worst is the morning cough (super dry mucus) and  the numbness/pain in my hands and feet and the swollen lymphnodes of course. Sjogrens goes along with lots of other Autoimmune Disorders in my case (though he is waiting for more test results) Lupus (basically the same without the whole "I attack all of your fluid making glands. yaaaaarrrr!" like Sjogrens does.) Sjogrens is the cousin disorder of lupus.
This is very treatable!! For now, since I flared up (most autoimmune disorders flare up due to stress) I am put on prednisone (I have to take 30mg for a week and will then dapper of and stay at 5mg until I flare up again). I am also on hydroxychlor for the rash that comes along with this poo.
My lungs are monitored and so are my kidneys and most important my lymphnodes. This is, for me, the scariest part. My lymphnodes are swollen (fluid gets stuck...remember? My immune system is attacking my glands too)...this can cause Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (cancer). So I must check it...be a good girl and take all my meds and stay away from stress.
Now....I am STILL pushing play and the doc was amazed by it! Les Milles is very good for me...any type of workout really. My sister suggested going on a juice fast which I will certainly do :)

Alright, on that note I will go kick myself into gear with Pump and Burn and my P90X Interview. Enjoy your weekend lovely people. <3

Just Keep Walking

since I finally got my blogger to work and the below post is a few days old I figured to just post again.
I did Pump and Burn this morning even though I caught the virus my son brought into the house...he is homeschooled and all the cool activities won't start until March meaning he must have picked it up at Target or so. Haha. So...I have a 103 fever (though I am controlling it with fever reducer), feel dizzy (virus or low pat?!) and can NOT breath through my nose at all. The pain seems to come from the back of my throat (between nose and mouth) so no matter what...breathing just hurts....and it feels dry.
Friday my son complained about a belly ache...as a mom I figured he just has to go number two...lol. The next day he complained a bit more and around 2pm he all of the sudden spiked a high fever. I called his father to come check him out....surely, as soon as he got here, my 5 year old started throwing up...URGENT CARE TIME. lol They checked for strep and influenza which both came back negative. His heart rate was at 172! I asured the nurse to recheck when my kid is less scared...a bit later his hr was at 145 and finally calmed down at 102. Diagnosis? A harmless virus. I was thankful but also knew that everyone in the house will get it before it leaves us. The day after Jakes was fine but then my daughter started (she got better quite fast as well...) and now I have it. Of course I don't cure it as fast as my little humans but that is alright.
Anyways...lots of bla from me...Pump and Burn is still awesome. I am in love with it because you can modify it every day! I felt strong yesterday so I used lots of weights...a little weaker today so I used less and still....the rep effect is making me burn!

In the end...I tell myself:

Change.

Look at me not having any time to post! Got's to love Body Pump though...super short and effective workouts that you can squeeze in whenever!
I am so stressed lately...if I would not do my workouts I would more then likely lose it. Things are changing.
I also just found out that I have some sort of Autoimmune disorder. About a week ago I had my blood taken due to a few things being completely out of order. I figured it would be due to stress. Man was I off. Blood test showed that I have very low potassium and iron. Both fixable with a few pills (potassium makes me feel very weird).
One of the things he tested was my CCP (?!) levels, or something, which came back "high". He called me right away saying I have to see a specialist for rheumatoid arthritis. (I will see the specialist next Wednesday). He will do a few more test to figure out exactly what it is I have.
Oh well...totally treatable and I am sure I can fight it into remission!

I did Step today...nice and brutal and...SHORT! I burned about 260 calories in those 27 minutes. I hardly ever wear my bodybug anymore but wanted to know what I burned today.
I had an average heart rate of 159. This is certainly a workout that you can modify greatly.
Here is a mug! emoticon

Pump Challenge And To Much Snow.

Good evening everyone,

I have a few seconds so I figured I'd share a bit of today. I did the Pump Challenge and also Hard Core Abs which is very much fun and so so different compared to Ab Ripper X. You start doing it and might find yourself thinking "oh...this isn't too bad...WOAH!! OUCH!" haha
I increased my weights. I doubled it up so I am at 30lbs now which very much hurt. As soon as I was done I remembered all the snow. I had to shovel my driveway! We had 18 inches of snow so it was a huge pain in the bum. The kids love it of course though they will drive me insane sooner or later. Here they where....fighting over a snowball. Have you seen what is around you kids?! SNOW, make a new one. *shakes head*
Anyways. I hope all of you are doing grand. <3

 Haha, frozen milk!!!

Summing It Up.

So as most of you know I used to way 200lbs. I sort of low carbed my way all to way down to 168lbs which I reached in January of 2011. In December 2010 I got the news of having T1 cancer cells located on my cervix. Apparently many catch this virus during c-sections which is rather confusing to me since hospitals are suppose to be CLEAN. Anyways, I knew I had to change my ways of living big time. I knew that losing weight the way I did was not healthy. I lost most of my muscle mass! January I started doing Chalean Extreme. One of the easier workouts from Beachbody. "Easy" my bum! It was so hard and every day was a struggle. The eating part was hard as well since I just stopped low carbing....I felt sick whenever I would eat carbs. More blood tests where done to find out I am borderline diabetic. Quite easy to get a hand on...just need to find the carbs that work for me. After my first month of Chalean Extreme I saw NO change. I gained a few pounds but lost inches. This sucked! I kept pushing play...and put my scale away. At this point I was at 1800 calories a day. I added a Zuzana Light workout here and there though I could feel I was getting stronger I did not see a difference until Day 60. How I wished I would have taken pictures though I was way to ashamed. By day 60 I lost 8 inches and 15lbs. Guess the diet was working! Now I was hooked...I knew sooner or later I will see more results IN THE MIRROR...because pants started to be loser which I did not care much for. I wanted to SEE it. I started adding 5-15 minutes of jump rope daily but all in all worked out only 5 days a week. By day 90 I lost 30lbs and 13inches. I took my before pictures for P90X (basically day 90 of Chalean Extreme). With P90X I had the same "issue" I lost 2lbs (whaaat!?!?!) and a few inches. But guess what? Finally EVERYTHING started to pick up fast. It took 120 days for ME to see change...for skin to get tighter. For me to believe it. Past that point I hardly cared for the scale anymore. I wanted to be healthy, wanted to beat cancer...if I can top it of with some hotness? SWEET! From time to time I felt myself getting angry over my large stretch marks...here I was, my skin tightening up more yet the stretchmarks stayed (they just moved closer to my back (weird...lol). But no matter what I always found my way back due to my awesome husband and friends. I kept pushing play and by the end of P90X I lost another 8lbs and about 8 inches. You could REALLY see it now. I did The Asylum after that...always wanted to be as fast as a rabbit. It surely did it's job and pushed me to my limit BIG time. Here and there I was able to have a fun day yet most of my fun day could have still be considered clean...because there was still this cancer thing in the back of my head. After The Asylum I did my own little P90X maintain hybrid. I lost so many inches in those 6 weeks! CRAZY. End of November I got the news. Cancer is GONE. I am fine, just need to have check ups done every 3-6 months. Beachbody and a good diet did that. I am sure of it :) Thank you for all of your support. Never forget WHY you are doing this! Push yourself to live this life as healthy as you can...while enjoying it.

My apologies on not posting as much lately, I am still pushing play of course. Just am rather busy to post it all :)

Les Miles, Pump And Burn

After getting so very bored with P90X 2 I decided I will give Body Pump a shot.
Phase I of P90X 2 is still very much fun so I will use some of the workouts on my rest days. Body Pump is 5 times a week and the workouts are rather short in the first month. The deluxe pack comes with the bar, the weight plates and a stepper. Plus the nutrition guide and all the other goodies.
I tried Pump Challenge yesterday which is only 20 minutes long...I used 5lbs plates so all in all you are lifting 15lbs (the bar is a tad more then 5lbs). It was so so much fun! Today was suppose to be a rest day yet I felt great so I tried out Pump and Burn (30 minute workout) and added some weight as well. (I have some 2.5lbs plates so I lifted a total of 20lbs)
I took a video of it and I must say...I have to relearn my squats again! LOL
Let me know if you have any questions about the workout...or click on this link to see what this workout program is all about.

Legs Are Shaking Like Mad

Hey everyone! I hope you all feel well? I am completely out of it. Feeling rather tired but will push through as always.
Today I smoked out my legs! I love the One on One on One Leg workout DVD!! It gave me a good burn the other day so I just did it again today. (Had a rest day yesterday so please no worries!)
Wednesday Les Miles Body Pump will get here!!! I am so very excited. Two of my buddies, one of them being my coach Carey Martin, get a crazy burn from it and are left shaking! I am quite sure I will be challenged!
Just had some peppered Beef Jerky. I think I am addicted.
Here is today's mug. Going to watch Football now :D

Pups..Not Really About Workouts...But So What?!

Some of them are a tad graphic. Yet I just find it beautiful! I also took a video of her birthing. If you are interested voice it in the comments and I shall share it.

I Am Still Here

Such stressful days lately. I might have not written anything but I was still working out though only for about 12 minutes a day. First my mom passed, then my daughter got sick, then my doggy had puppies and then my son fell pretty hard.
I am back now. Today I did oooool (One on One on One Leg) and liked it a lot. It was one of the bonus dvd's that I got for pre-ordering P90X2.
I took some pictures...please no comments on my choice of pants or socks (lol). Plus here you see my lose skin I am left with after losing all this weight. It surely did get better though!

Sleep Well Mother And More.

What a weekend. O_O First it was sad...then it was awesome...then it was sad again...mixed with a bit of confusion.
Saturday I met my wonderful up-line coach Carey Martin! I was so excited to finally meet her. (though it is rather strange to see her in normal clothes and not workout clothes. HA!) She is super sweet and I am quite glad to have met her. She showed me the new Les Milles Body Pumo workout. I WANT IT SO BADLY!
On the way to her house I found out that my mother had past away after being in a coma for 7 weeks. This lady raised me since I was very young after my biological mother decided to run out on us. Without her...who knows where we would be today. This is a rather hard time...she left behind so many people including my little sister and her small son, my stepbrother. I am not good with words and tend to stay away from things that might cause hurt or pain...so I here is my older sisters blog. Read what she had to say...she summed it up nicely.

Sunday I heard all the voices of my German relatives. I miss home.

Anyways, you all know I need to work out in order to feel good. So even though I only had 5 hours of sleep in the last 2 nights I pushed play. My back was still sore from last Monday (no kidding) so I took it easier on the Pull-Ups BUT went all out with the Push-Ups. I sort of kept track with the numbers ....well not really, just know it is more.
No video today...not even a mug! Bare with me!

X2 Shoulders and Arms

Ugh...THIS was lame.
O_O I was seriously surprised after X2 Shoulders and Arms. It was not hard...I was not pushed or challenged at all. Yes...Tony added a whole lot of balance by doing all of the moves with one leg of the ground but darn it, I just did 4 weeks of Phase 1 that included so much balance that a foot in the air (ankle next to ankle) did not face me at all.
The workout is broken up into 3 parts, 7 sets repeated. Where I love when workouts repeat sets only 7 sets was just not enough (total of 21 sets). Meeeehhhh. I also did X2 Ab Ripper and then ran the stairs again. 178 times...I was able to cut my time by two minutes (so 21 minutes) and after that I added 1000 step ups which took me 26 minutes (meaning I spent 47 minutes on my stairs...lol)
Now I am kind of toast. I really wanted to take a mug shot but kind of spaced out. It would have been a good one for sure because I was sweating a lot.
Well...I did take a video of the X2 Shoulders and Arms workout.

Off Day And Food.

Hello there :)
We have so much snow today...perfect knowing all I have to do is foam roll and stretch. I surely needed this today. I did not take a video because I rather just sit on my bum and enjoy my kiddos today.
Last night at 11pm I got SO very hungry! Just shows I have to up my calories a tad...normally I do not get hungry at night. P90X 2 Phase 2 seems to be kicking my behind.
I am posting pictures so you can all see what I have in a day. I upped my carbs (trying it out!) just to see if I can push myself more during a workout. Now this is from yesterday! I upped my food intake by 200 calories today.
Let me know what you think! (And get yourself a foam roller! lol)

Just a reminder. February 14th the new Shakeology flavor will be out. I am so excited!

X2 Plyocide

Here we go again with X2 Plyocide. I must add that I woke this morning being so very sore that it took my breath away...all in all I slept for two hour because of it. I thought my quads would be sore yet they feel just fine yet my chest, arms and back are burning! I could not even itch my behind if I wanted to. lol. It surely is a different sore then it was with P90X's Chest and Back. It was more concentrated in one area (chest and back...duh) but with the added Balance part it seems to spread into every muscle. My core is a tad sore as well.
Needless to say I pushed through Plyocide anyways yet I could tell I was a lot slower then last week. I am not upset about this at all knowing what I brought to the table yesterday.
Tomorrow is my "off day"...I shall foam roll the poo out of my body!
My diet is doing okay. It is HARD for me to get my carbs up in a healthy way so if anyone has an idea please E-mail me. I won't do any bread but rye bread knowing what it does to me. Brown Rice...but even 4oz (which stuffs me like a turkey) won't bring to many carbs to the table...it is hard! Due to this my calories where a tad low yesterday. Planning on picking up on that today :)

I gave it my all... My number seem to be low but if you consider all the balls (as you can see in the video) you will understand. lol
I started with Chest/Back and Balance and then X2 Ab Ripper and finished up with a 1 mile staircase climb. I had to go, up and down, 178 times...which equals 2492 steps. I finished in 23 minutes and my heart rate was super high. I shall feel that one tomorrow for sure. Check out all my new videos and numbers. <3

Edward Scissor Hands Was In The House And More.

Good Day everyone! Guess what?! I had to skip X2 Total Body yesterday. I went to the dentist to get a cavity in between my tooth fixed. Turns out I have awesome teeth, don't get cavities on the TOP of my tooth but, since my teeth are so tight together, I get them in between AND under my gums...so the friendly lady had to push my gums down (stick something in between gum and tooth) to fix the action going on. Needless to say, after 3 hours I was compeltely beat. I thought that extra numbing shots would end up making the bill higher so I did not ask for more even though I felt most of the pain...turns out it would have been the same price. Duh.
I got out of there looking like Edward Scissor Hands punched me in the mouth and on the drive home I had to stop and puke into some ladies drive way. (Her neighbor gave me a tissue...SORRY!). I never feared the dentist...until now. I'd take a c-section before I go back to the dentist. I am saying this because 10 hours after my c-section I was walking and I released myself after 2 days. So you see...I am okay with pain (though I cry like a little girl when I have a paper cut).
Anyways...every time I take a step it vibrates into my nerves in my cheek and tooth so I have to go slow. X2 Yoga is in the bags (modified)  and I did a hips/buns/legs workout without any plyo added. So you see...you can surely work around pain. :)
I started my day with Greek yogurt mixed with fresh raspberries (I can hardly open my mouth but I will surely force that in...somehow) and just had 6oz of chicken breast...Going to have a protein bar next...it's basically candy with a bunch of protein. O_O  Sugar Alcohol is insane in those bars yet the P90X bars (and Myoplex or quest bars) are good...still, I would suggest, see it as a treat!
When I am less lazy I will make my own protein bars. I always tell myself to make them but I am rather forgetful at times.

It is almost Friday!! And almost time for Phase 2 of P90X2!! WUUHUU

X2 Plyocide. I KILLED You!

Ha, what a day. Lot's of running around to do while my husband is being sick. But that won't stop me from working out of course.
Last night I did a fun "challenge" sort of thing with my buddies Amie and Scott.
Amie did 100 One Legged Squats with me, then 100 Pike Presses. Then we did a time challenge...hold up two 5lbs weights out to the side with straight arms. I did it for 1:47 minutes (husband did it for 2:32 minutes). Then 50 Shoulder Presses followed by holding a Plank for as long as we can (did it for 2:17 minutes) and last but not least we held our arms out straight with no weights (trust me it will feel like a ton)...I did that for 5:45 minutes. What did you do last night?!
Anyways, Plyocide was fun today. I wanted to give it my all and can say I surely did! My average heart rate was at 168 with a peak at 180 (no worries it drops VERY fast for me). I gave it 150% knowing that on Saturday I am done with Phase 1! I am very happy that I decided to give it an extra week.
I noticed how differently sore Phase 1 of P90X 2 leaves me. It is rather helpful due to the fact that you will know exactly what you have to tighten up when you are in a Spinx  Plank on a stability ball...all the parts that are sore. lol (which is basically your core and legs and back and and and...)

Hope you are all starting your year (days!) feeling positive.

this picture looks funny, makes my arm look all short.

wahh, sorry it is fuzzy :(
