I Am Back.

Or shall I say Tony is back? Good grief how I missed him. I had a grin on my face the entire workout and my numbers where alright. I could tell my Push-Ups got a bit weaker within the last 40 days (but who cares? I am super fast!) I am sticking with a 2000 calorie diet to maintain weight. Ratio 50/30/20. You all know I do best on higher protein. 
Target had all their nuts on sale so I am sure my fat will be a bit higher then 20%. Good fats though so all is well.




Check out my numbers! Tomorrow is Plyo X day. So excited for it. It used to be so hard, now, after doing Vertical Plyo from The Asylum, I am sure it will be easier.

Tomorrow We Shall Start.

Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy your Sunday! I am starting to have ants in my pants because this is the longest, since April, that I have not worked out. I feel quite sluggish (might be because of the Halloween Party we attended, lol). Sadly I had to stop my Shakeology Cleanse early due to medical issues. 
I will be starting my workout at 9am tomorrow morning! I hope lot's of you will join me!! 

Also, November 1st Beachbody is starting a challenge.  Be dedicated and bring it hard and you have the chance to win a good chunk of money. Shakeology Cleanse Day Two.

Arg...I have to go shopping but know  it isn't wise while I am doing the cleanse. I do not feel hunger like most people doing this cleanse. I am used to water fasting so this is quite easy. So far I had my two Shakeology's and an apple. All in all you do not extend 1000 calories. Goal is to have the highest nutrition in the least amount of calories. I eat lots of herb salad during such cleanses. You detox a bit and feel nice and light, some people get headaches and such so make sure you  drink about a gallon of water. 
Couple more days and we will get started with my Hybrid!!

New Hybrid And Shakeology Cleanse.

Good day everyone! What a day yesterday. Early in the morning I sent my Before and After pictures to Beachbody Success and got an answer back after only 2 hours. They had me fill in all the release forms and 3 hours after that I got an e-mail from "Escalations" saying that my free The Asylum T-Shirt has been shipped. I am so excited and believe I will never ever take it of....the shirt that is.

Today I started my 3 day Shakeology cleanse. If anyone is interested on how it works shot me an E-mail. I mostly do this between workouts. Other then that I will not work out until Monday! Here is the Hybrid I designed. :) Feel free to follow it!

FINAL The Asylum Day!!

Hello everyone! Guess what?! I am done. Once I finished my Fit Test and knew I am done with The Asylum I sat there waiting for the happiness and joy to come over me. But...it was no where near  that. I picked up my Agility Ladder and tossed it and then started crying. Silly? Do the program and then we can talk. Past day 20 this workout program was mentally so very hard! 
Just like I thought...there isn't much difference in my Before and Afters but that was not my goal to begin with. I wanted to challenge myself and Shaun T's The Asylum surely did that, PLUS I am SUPER fast which my kids enjoy tons. I feel stronger in my core and abs as well.
Now I am just SUPER tired. I already made up my new hybrid which will hold P90X, P90X Plus, One on One Volume I and The Asylum. I will post the hybrid tomorrow. My awesome friend Dani will do it with me as will my buddy Brad. It will be fun. Tony....I miss you.

Basically LAST DAY!

Happy Monday to all of you! How crazy is it that I am about to be done with my 3rd Beachbody program?! Speed and Agility went good today though mentally I really had to push myself HARD. All I kept thinking is "last time...I am almost done" and here I am, about to be done. All there is left is tomorrows Fit Test! Madness!! 
Next to my normal workout I did tons of walking today. My son is crazy about Dinos so we went to Denvers Museum and looked at the dinosaur bones. They also had robo dinos there that looked so real that Jakes got scared! He ended up going in though and loved it. 
Anyways, hope you all are just as excited as me when it comes to my final fit test! 


I had a huge lunch today...lately I am eating tons of omelets. Today I took 2 eggs, 2 egg whites, 3oz of turkey breast and 3 oz of grape tomatoes. I could eat it all day!

Forgot To Post!

My bad! And happy Sunday to all of you. I, strangely, forgot to post yesterday. It was not a good day for me. I sleep with a mouth guard at night and forgot to put it in...needless to say my TMJ was killing me all Saturday. I was very happy to learn that it is "just" Back to Core. No jumping...no nothing. My back has gotten SO strong! 
It is only two days till I am done with The Asylum. The biggest change I have seen so far is in my hamstrings which where always very very weak. I do not think I lost tons of inches but I am very much stronger. 
Today I will be putting together my own hybrid. It will be mostly P90X...and I fill in some of my favorite P90X PLUS workouts and some Asylum. I will take in Back to Core for sure and some Speed and Agility. I think I will do this hybrid for 60 days.
I do not want to bore you guys with just workout updates so I will be adding (and this is a maybe...lol) recipes. 

Today is a fantastic rest day...I will do some leg wraps and drink lots of water. I did not get to a whole gallon the last couple of days so I feel icky.

Vertical Plyo, Again.

This is getting VERY hard. In the beginning I thought "huh, this isn't too hard, I can totally do this" yet now that I only have 4 workouts left it is getting incredibly hard. I am tired and sore. I am done Wednesday with Monday being a Relief day. I will take a "break" until the next Monday and more then likely start with P90X though I add some Asylum. I think.
Vertical Plyo was hard again today. Go figure. For some reason I was sweating a lot more. Might be because I had oatmeal instead of my normal Shakeology. LOL


I am watching my kids right now, they are running around in their Halloween costumes. Wish I had mine already...I'd join them! 
This is it for today, I shall go eat a steak now. :D

Game Day!

This lingering head cold is making me so mad. It could be way worse then this like to the point that I can not work out yet I can so that is a good thing. Game Day is a workout that you can very much cheat and modify though I absolutely rocked it and gave it my all. My Push-Ups where weak today to due my head cold but I am bringing it and always will unless I am missing a leg. 
I have to huge need to go walk in a forest. It is such beautiful weather yet with my little ones I have to be well and not sick to be able to make this enjoyable. (we should never take breathing through our nose for granted.)

Strength. Day 23

I just realized I have only 7 days left...the good thing with this program was that I had a Relief day every 4 days or so. Now I only have one more Relief/Off day which is on Monday. Ugh...this will be hard! 
I felt great this morning! My workout went grand as well but not even 20 minutes later I had a horrid migraine. I used to have those about every day...had maybe two days a week where  I was pain free yet ever since I am taking care of myself I have it under control. So today came like a huge painful surprise. 3 hours later and the pain is gone but I have this sort of pain aura lingering in my neck and head. It hurt so bad!
Anyways...I just need to move slow for the rest of the day. I took some pictures today. Hope you enjoy them. If anyone wonders why I am always in underpants, well I am part of Team UP and UP stands for underpants...plus it is much less warm during  my workouts. haha

Challenge.

I just listened to the Team Up call from last night and I find this to be a grand idea. This is how it works <--->I am going to start a new group of only 5 people who are ready to give it there all to start a Beachbody Challenge beginning November 1st of this year. Speed And Agility With A Head Cold? Bring IT On!

I am still under the weather but I am a firm believer in the power of Vitamin C. I take 2000mg daily so I do still function. I do not have the normal weakness but My nose is stuffed and when I jump it sounds/feels like I am under water...so since I did Speed and Agility I felt like I have water in my ears whenever I jumped....and there a lot of jumps in that workout. 
After my workout I had a huge protein shake, mixed with 1 1/2 cups of mixed berries. So good if mixed with strawberry protein powder. Now I am enjoying the sun...and doing some school work with my son. All in all a very nice day...and that is with a head cold.

What Is Next Shaun T!?

What a day! It is my babies 5th birthday. We had his party yesterday and I am quite glad we did since I was not able to get out of bed this morning. I was stuck in my bathroom for a while. Never the less my kiddos are having lots of fun, they are eating as many cookies as they can in the cave I build them. it is raining out so we made it very cozy. Mommy stays close to the bathroom though. O_O
Of course I pressed play. Later then normal and I thought to do being under the weather that I would not be able to bring it too hard. BUT...I killed it. Each move! I did not have to stop once and did the whole two minutes of One Legged Jump Tucks. Go me!!
I am spent now and will continue laying on the floor. Speed and Agility tomorrow! I sure hope I will find the same strength as I did today.

Back To Core On Sunday

Hello everyone, I hope all of you have a fantastic Sunday! My apologies on not posting yesterday. I changed my Rest Day from Monday to yesterday because I had to bake a great amount of cakes and pies for my sons birthday party which was today. So I will do Vertical Plyo tomorrow!
It was a very long but fun weekend. I can not believe my son is already 5 years old. He is getting so big and time is flying. I wish I could stop time for a bit.
As soon as everyone left I knocked out Back to Core and have this crazy awesome burn in my back, buns and hams now. I love it! I checked my weight yesterday to see if everything is in check and it dropped a bit more...just means I have to increase calories which should not be hard. *stares at pumpkin loaf*

Gameday And Overtime!

I am cold...shivering because after I just finished my workout I had to get into the shower with all my clothes on.

Now I am sitting here and can hardly type because I am filled with serotonin ...so my fingers are shaking. This is my passion so I have a huge grin on my face....( now I can be assured that really EVERY muscle in my body has been worked on) I did Gameday which  was a bit easier then the first time around. I am unsure if that is due to me not recording it or because I got stronger. Who knows? It sure is a fun workout. I kind of hurt my elbow during the Rock Climbing plyo Push-Ups but other then that it went well. Then there was Overtime. I figured it would be hard but I had no idea. Who in the world moves that way? Well Shaun T does. He is a monster...and not like a cute Lady Gaga Monster...but more like an animal sort of Monster. 
Hardest 10 minutes ever! I recorded overtime and I am glad that I take out my background noise because I was a very bad girl and spilled a lot of potty mouth words.

Strength Is What Everyone Needs.

Good Day friends. I just got done eating a HUGE egg white/turkey breast omelet and can hardly move. It is surely what you need after a workout  like Strength. I was very much NOT in the mood to press play this morning but of course did do so anyways. I did quite good! I showed the Pull-Up bar what it is I have in store! 
I counted some of my reps today. I did 18 Shoulder Tap Push-Ups in the Warm-Up, 10 Rotational Jumps with Curl, All 24 Curl/Squad/get down Push-Up (Spider, Mountain Climber) rotations, 8 Rotational Jumps Curl/Press, 45 Jump-Pulls, 6 Pyramid Pull-Up Rotations, 7 Mountain Climber Switch Grips, 20 reps for the firt Chest/Abs set, 15/14 for the second, 15 reps for the last. Also 8 of the Frog-Jump/One Legged Plank. I kind of forgot to count the rest. I had a great sweat on and felt very good once I was done.

Vertical Plyo Is The Beast

What a crazy different day. I can NOT stress it enough...if you guys do anything that is similar to P90X, Insanity or The Asylum, you NEED to be on Shakeology. I am all about schedule. Every day looks the same. This morning though I needed to run to the stores so everything looked different. I had a yogurt and a protein bar for breakfast (at about 9.50am) and no Shakeology. Very different, considering that I have it everyday at 8am. Turns out without it I have about 20% less energy. Now Vertical Plyo is hard by itself and even harder with Speed and Agility the day before. I think I would have done better with the Shake in my system. Oh well...I pushed through. 
I am still quite torn on what to do next. Hybrid of P90X and The Asylum? Insanity and The Asylum? I really do miss lifting...Anyways here is yesterdays percentage :)

Day 15. Speed And Agility

I don't get it. It was snowing two days ago and incredibly cold yesterday...but today? It is super warm. Colorado weather...strange. Today I did Speed and Agility. I need tighter pants for that. My bum is all over the place in that workout. haha
It did seem a tad easier. I had a blast with the Mountain Climber Ab Progression. I made a video today but haven't had the chance to compare it to my first Speed and Agility video...I wonder.
Yesterdays Fit Test picture made it on the main The Asylum Facebook page. So cool :) I want to be all the way on the top and get as many people as possible motivated and fit. If you are not working out yet or are not being lovely to your body...TRY IT! It feels amazing and too me is like a drug. My pain reliever, my meditation...my me time.

Day 14, Fit Test.

How funny! I woke up so late thinking that I will need rest for Speed and Agility only to find out that I have a Relief Day today. I figured I should do my Fit Test though so that I do not have to double up tomorrow.
I looked at my numbers from the first time I did this Fit Test and got quite scared thinking I could not improve my numbers remembering how painful it was to push through it. I must add I am all about perfect form hen it comes to the Training Assessment. Just to not cheat myself. If I don't get my heel up to my belly button during a Mountain Climber Switch Kick I do not count it. If I do not touch my shoulder during Agility Shoulder Taps (some touch their biceps) I do not count it. I also take 45 seconds of break during each exercise.
Well...I did good :) I was VERY excited to see some things getting a lot better. I still don't understand how someone can get 6 rotations of Agility Shoulder Taps into one minute. Surely one of my goals. 
Since a few days I increased my protein a bit more and I feel great. This weekend was fun! Tomorrow is day 15...half way through!

Already Day 13! Strength.

Good day to all! What a strange day! I woke up this morning thinking "why the heck is my room so bright!?" Well turns out it snowed quite a bit. I dislike snow...the freezing weather. Seems as though Fall is a whole lot shorter in this state. I need golden trees....rain. The smell...the colors. :( I feel robbed. 
Anyways, Strength went very well today, I sort of see it like a break since Shaun T. gives you tons of water breaks. I don't use most of them since I take my time with any squat in that workout. 
I have my fit test in a couple days. It will be quite interesting to see how much better I got in 14 days. 
The last couple days I had little time for  pictures, my apologies! I will get it done sooner or later.

Back To Core Day 12.

Right now is the first time I am getting to sit for a few minutes. I have been all over the place today. My son wanted his old room back so I have been moving a bed and toys and such for half of the day. My dog decided it would be cool to eat my husbands sneakers which he left in the yard so now I have tiny pieces of shoe everywhere. I did, of course, press play. The feeling after Back to Core is amazing and I am thinking about doing the whole workout with ankle weights next time it comes around. 
I am slightly sore after yesterday...in my buns. 
I am about to have a big piece of chicken with basil veggies. No video or pictures today! Don't forget to drink enough water...yes it is getting colder but we still need just the same amount of water.

GAME DAY!

It was, no IS, GAME DAY! I can't tell you how nervous I was for this one but must say I did quite well. Trying to decide which sport was hardest but then I remember climbing a mountain and yeah...that is it. My biceps is screaming from the Mountain Climber Switch Grips. I kind of sounded like a monster when my four year old decided to crawl under me, while I am hanging on the Pull-Up bar. All he saw was my red face and I mumbled something through my teeth and he ran. lol

The one mile run in the beginning is so cool and I loved Wrestling and Swimming. I made a video! Hope you all enjoy it!

Vertical Plyo, Bad Dreams

I slept horrid! I was so scared of doing Vertical Plyo today that I hardly slept and when I did drift of I kept dreaming that I had to JUMP over huge ravines in the Grand Canyon. Well...I, of course, did it anyways and did way better then the first time around. Took just one break (at minute  12 of the workout) and saw improvement in most of my moves. I still think one legged jump tucks suck...at the end of this workout I was sweating like crazy.

Back To Core. Big Smile

What a weekend, what a day. I have to make this short because I crave going outside with my little humans. 
I killed Back to Core today, in the beginning of the workout you do 6 sets of 1 minute long jumping jacks (different arm movements to warm up your back). The first time I did it I was able to do 30 seconds on and off, not because my heart rate didn't let me but because I got side stitches like you would not believe. The second time I was 45 seconds on, 15 seconds of and today I finished the 6 minutes no problems at all. 
All in all I had to take no break the entire workout. Everything lower back still challenges me quite a bit but I will get there as well. My legs burn from the Strength workout yesterday, I enjoy that feeling tons. Tomorrow it is Vertical Plyo day....I am scared.

YAY

My shirt came in a few days back. I got it for finishing P90X from Beachbody. Thank you Beachbody!

Day 7, Killed Strength.

That's right, I nailed Strength today. I did not feel like doing it when I first woke up. I guess that is what you get for staying up all night two night's in a row. I pressed play anyways, as I always do, knowing that I will feel better after about 5 minutes into the workout. How funny...food used to be my comfort now it is sweat that is most comforting to me. 
I increased my numbers A LOT. I did 7 Pyramid Row Push Ups and my lower abs are getting a lot stronger as well. With my two c-sections this is one of the areas that gave me great trouble though I can feel it getting stronger and my husband noticed that I am doing a lot better when it comes to the chest/ab routine at the end of Shaun T's Strength craziness. 
At the end of the workout I was shaking so hard that I dropped my green tea and almost my camera. :) It is a grand day. 
My legs, I think got so much stronger, right leg is still stronger then the left. I use it so much more with my messed up hip.

Speed And Agility. So AWESOME!

Good morning happy people. How I love Asylum today. I was afraid to press play after going out last night but I did anyways and have a huge grin on my face right now. It felt amazing, I feel amazing!  EVERYTHING is amazing. WAAAHHHHH! Okay...sorry about that. Speed and Agility went much better today. The workout is 45 minutes long. I pause whenever I take a break which made Speed and Agility, the first time I did it, 58 minutes long. That is 12 minutes in breaks which I had to take due to my heart rate being in the red zone or simply because I was dying. Today...dun dun duuuuhhhhhh, I did  it in 50 minutes. Muhahahaha. Isn't that awesome?! Here are some pictures of today. My heart rate had a beautiful average of 159.
