I do not know what it is, maybe the switch of workouts in Phase II or it being the week after my recovery week but I am sore all over. It is a nice gentle sore not a "I can't flex my muscles or walk" kind of sore. I enjoy it! I can feel being more hungry then a couple weeks ago. Which makes sense as well.
In Phase II of P90X I am suppose to have a 40/40/20 diet. (40% carbs, proteins and 20% fat) I am trying something different though. I used to be a heavy heavy girl and still got a good layer of fat over those strong muscles of mine. I am upping my protein up to 60%, fat to 30% and carbs only 10% (which I will get from my Shakeology). If I find my numbers going down or so I will of course adjust my carbs. Yet with all the lifting I am sure my body won't have much problem using my own body fat for energy. I shall do this for two weeks. If I feel well enough.
Yoga X felt great today. My upper back was a tad sore (from yesterday) but it made me feel very relaxed. I wish I could take a nap right now. I just now burned my chicken...turns out super crispy chicken tastes amazing. lol
Here is a better scapula pinch picture. Most people will be able to use their muscle to hold the pencil up. But can you eat the pencil with your scapula?! And yep, it is a PINK glitter pencil. A girl gots to have style!
